Why choose a Baby Photo Prints?

The photographs exist, they are just not anywhere

A first year generates thousands of images and the overwhelming majority stay on a phone that will be replaced within three years. Printing three hundred of them costs a few pounds. It is the single cheapest thing you can do with the archive and the only one that survives a lost account.

Matte is the right choice for a baby album

Both finishes use the same 232 g/m² paper, the same 12-colour printing and cost the same. Matte does not show fingerprints, which matters for prints that a small child is eventually going to handle, and it does not glare under the plastic sleeves of a slip-in album.

Print small and often

9x12cm and 10x15cm at 7p and 8p make it reasonable to print monthly rather than annually. Waiting until the end of the year almost always means the printing never happens, which is the actual failure mode here — not the choice of paper.

Frequently Asked Questions about Baby Photo Prints

What sizes can I print baby photos in?

11 fixed sizes from 9x12cm up to 20x30cm, including 10x15cm (6x4"), 13x18cm (7x5") and 20x30cm (8x12"), plus variable-width formats that adapt to the aspect ratio of the image.

How much do baby photo prints cost?

From £0.07 per print for the 9x12cm size on orders of 20 or more. 10x15cm starts from £0.08, 13x18cm from £0.13 and 20x30cm from £0.44.

Should I choose matte or gloss?

Both use the same paper, the same printing and the same price. Matte hides fingerprints and does not glare under album sleeves or behind glass, which makes it the practical choice for a baby album. Gloss gives more saturation if the prints are going straight into a box.

Will phone photos of a newborn print well?

Usually yes at 10x15cm and 13x18cm. Newborn photographs are often taken indoors in low light and can carry more grain than is visible on a screen, so check before going to 20x30cm. The design tool warns you if a file is too small for the size selected.

How many photos should I print?

More than feels sensible. At 7p to 8p a print, the cost of printing four hundred images is less than a single framed print, and selecting down from a printed pile is far easier than selecting from a camera roll.

How long do photo prints take to arrive?

3 to 5 working days from order, including production — the fastest turnaround in the range.

What file types can I upload?

JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP. Upload high-resolution JPEGs for the larger sizes.

Perfect for these Occasions: When to choose a Baby Photo Prints

The monthly habit

Printing the month's photographs on the first of the next one keeps the archive from becoming a project. Twenty 10x15cm prints a month costs less than a coffee and the album stays current.

Prints for grandparents who are not online

A set of twenty prints posted to a grandparent who does not use a phone gallery is a better gift than access to a shared album they will never open.

Filling an album that was given as a gift

Slip-in baby albums are a common shower gift and most stay empty because the prints never get made. 10x15cm is the size almost all of them take.

Scan photos and hospital-band keepsakes

Small prints at 9x12cm sit well in a memory box alongside the physical things from the first week, and they cost almost nothing to duplicate for both sets of grandparents.
