Dishwasher tested to a number

Our ceramic and porcelain mugs were tested to 125 dishwasher cycles with no visible change to the print. That is roughly two and a half years of weekly washes. The enamel and colour-changing magic mugs are the exceptions and are hand-wash only, which is worth knowing before buying one for someone who owns a dishwasher.

Are personalised anniversary mugs dishwasher safe?

The ceramic and porcelain mugs are, tested to 125 dishwasher cycles with no visible change to the print, and both are microwave safe and food safe. The enamel mug and the colour-changing magic mug are hand-wash only, and the enamel mug should not be microwaved.

What sizes are the mugs?

The classic ceramic mug holds 11 oz / 325ml and stands 9.5cm tall. The premium porcelain mug holds 8 oz / 230ml and stands 8cm tall. The magic mug matches the classic at 325ml.

Can I order a matching pair?

Yes, and it is the most common anniversary order on this product. Order two of the same mug with the same photograph, or two with different images, in a single order.

Can I add the wedding date or the number of years?

Yes. The design tool takes custom text alongside the image, with a choice of fonts, sizes and colours. A date on the reverse and a photograph on the front is the usual arrangement.

Can I put a group photograph all the way round the mug?

Yes, with the panorama print option, which wraps one image around the full circumference. Portrait and landscape put the photo on one side only. Panorama mugs cost a little more.

How far ahead should I order?

Mugs take 5 to 8 working days in total. An anniversary has a fixed date, so order at least two weeks ahead rather than the week before.
