Before you can design birthday cards online with your photos, you need to choose the photos you want! We’ll print any image that you upload, so this is your chance to create something truly unique.
Note that the images need to be in digital form so they can be uploaded to our site.
Browse your own digital collections for the right images, or you can look for stock photos. There are photo banks online such as Unsplash which make great sources of card-friendly images. So long as the image is out of copyright, you can use it at MYPICTURE.
Step 2: Choose Card Format
Choose which card type you want from the 3 formats we offer. If you’re looking for the traditional greetings card format with your message hidden inside a folding card, you’ll want to choose the Folded Photo Card. But the other formats make fun alternatives too!
All our photo cards are available at the amazing bargain prices you’d expect from MYPICTURE:
Panorama Photo Card (£3 for 10).
Folded Photo Card (£9 for 10). Available in portrait or landscape orientation.
Photo Postcard (£4 for 12).
Note that all the cards in each set of 10 (12 for postcards) will be identical.
You’ll see a “Create now” button under each of the three options. When you’ve chosen your card format, click to proceed.
Now you’ll see our range of design templates for your personalised birthday cards. The designs will serve as backgrounds to the photos you upload, so choose the one you think will complement them best.
When you’ve chosen, simply click on your template to proceed to our product design page.
Step 4: Design Your Card
On the card design page, you’ll be presented with a mock-up of your card. To begin the design process, simply click the "Add Pictures" button to upload your digital images.
On the left side of the screen, you’ll find the following tabs:
Photos: Your uploaded photos will be stored here. Drag and drop them onto the card mock-up as needed. Alternatively, you can use the "Autofill" button, which will automatically insert the pictures into the design.
Backgrounds: If desired, you can select colourful backgrounds for each page from the options available in this tab.
Cliparts. A range of digital elements that you can insert into your design. They’re sorted according to theme: Love, Pets, Vacation, etc.
Layouts: In this tab, you can choose from a variety of pre-designed layouts for both photos and text. Select the desired layout for each page of your card.
Masks/Frames: Conceal part of a photo that you’ve uploaded, or surround a page with an elegant frame effect.
For pages that include a text section, simply click on the default text within the card mock-up and enter your own message.
Once you’ve finished designing a page, click Next Page to move on.
When you’re satisfied with your design, click on the "Order" button located at the top right corner of the screen to proceed with your order.
Step 5: Complete Purchase
After finalising your card design, proceed to the Shopping Cart to review your order details. All correct? Proceed to enter your delivery and payment information and complete the purchase.
Production will typically take 2-3 working days, followed by shipping which generally takes 3-5 working days.
The cards have a semi-gloss finish that’s well-suited for handwritten messages, so you can sign them to get an extra personal touch.
