How should I clean my photo mug?

Our classic, china and heart mugs are dishwasher-safe, but we recommend washing them by hand using a mild detergent to keep the print looking its best for longer. The enamel and magic mugs are not suitable for the dishwasher and should only be washed by hand.

Where on my personalised photo mug will the print appear?

We offer a choice of print options for your personalised cup. If you select the portrait or landscape option, your photo will appear on one side of the mug: you can request a print to the left or right side of the handle. If you select the panorama option, your photo will appear as a full wraparound print. Note that panorama-printed mugs may cost a little more.

All our ceramic photo mugs (the classic, china, and magic mugs) are very robust, and the enamel mug may be an even better choice for young children thanks to its extra-tough metal core. Older children will love our heat-sensitive magic mug which conceals your photo until a hot drink is poured in.

What is the delivery time for customised mugs?

The total production and delivery time of our personalised mugs is 5-7 working days from the time you place your order.

Are personalised mugs dishwasher safe?

Yes — our personalised ceramic mugs are fully dishwasher safe. The printed design is sealed with a durable coating that withstands regular dishwasher cycles. To maximise the lifespan of the print, we recommend placing the mug on the top rack and avoiding harsh abrasive detergents.

High-resolution photos with good lighting produce the sharpest results. Portrait shots, group photos, pet photos and landscape images all print beautifully. We recommend avoiding very dark or low-contrast images. Our design tool will warn you if your image resolution is too low for a quality print.

Are personalised mugs microwave safe?

Yes — our standard personalised ceramic mugs are microwave safe. The printed design will not be affected by normal microwave use. However, our enamel mugs and colour-changing mugs should not be microwaved.

Can I add text as well as a photo to my mug?
